Who we are

Center for Comfort Care, Inc. is a Maryland Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) provider dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities through compassionate, individualized support.

 

We believe every person deserves Respect, Independence, Choice, Safety, Community Inclusion, and Opportunities for Growth. We empower individuals with developmental disabilities to live independently, safely, and with dignity through person-centered services.

 

Our dedicated team works closely with participants, families, Service Coordinators, and healthcare professionals to ensure each Individual Plan is implemented with excellence.

 

Our Services

 

Personal Support

Personal supports provide regular one-on-one support, supervision, and training to help the individual participate fully in their home and community life. Services include support with daily living activities, transportation, community participation, skill development, health and safety monitoring, and implementation of Person-Centered Plan (PCP) goals while promoting dignity, choice, and self-determination.

 

Respite Care

Respite Care provides temporary support to individuals with developmental disabilities, offering primary caregivers planned or emergency relief. Services ensure participants receive safe, person-centered care, assistance with daily activities, community engagement, and supervision while maintaining health, safety, comfort, and continuity of support in accordance with their Person-Centered Plan (PCP).

 

Supported Living

Supported Living Services provide individualized assistance that enables individuals with developmental disabilities to live independently in their own homes while receiving the support they need. Services include help with daily living skills, personal care, household management, budgeting, community participation, health and safety, and implementation of Person-Centered Plan (PCP) goals to promote independence, choice, and self-determination.

 

Community Development Services

Community Development Services (CDS) support individuals with developmental disabilities in developing life skills, increasing independence, and actively participating in their communities. Services focus on community inclusion, socialization, employment readiness, communication, self-advocacy, and skill development while promoting meaningful relationships, personal choice, and achievement of goals identified in each individual's Person-Centered Plan (PCP).
